ConnorWilhem3 asked: Don’t reply telling me not to. I don’t have enough money to pay $40 to $50 each time on want to play golf. I played competitive high school golf and now don’t have the money because I’m in college.
My strategies include late day golf, stealing Club Car keys, and sneaking on rainy days.
What a load of crap. Sneaking onto a golf course when there’s no one playing is the same thing as stealing a car? Trespassing is not a win lose economically. No one is losing money when you play free golf and respect the course like I do at off peak hours. I’ve gotten caught and no one has ever taken me to court. My law school frat brother says no course is going to pay a lawyer to prosecute some college kid. Please answer the question at hand.

matt g asked: I work at a sporting goods store and now since are golf pro is gone they put me in golf for a bit. The problem is I know the bare minimum about golf but really want to learn about it. I look at the whole wall of golf balls and I just wonder what makes one better than the other? Is it player preference?

Signilda asked: I just read that some business school is requiring that its grad students learn golf since many business deals are made on the gofl course. Is this true? Does it just hold true for men? Is is a ‘boys club’ or are business women on the golf courses too?

GRUMP asked: I just finished up a golf class last week put on by ESPN in which they gave you a set of Nike Ignite clubs to get started, namely; 4-9 irons, pw, 3-hybrid and a putter. I added a cheap driver (which I’m planning on upgrading to a Nike Summo) and a Wilson 58 deg sand wedge as well. I have played the past two months with this set and feel that I may need more fairway clubs especially for the 5 pars. I’m getting mixed up between some saying I need a 3 and a 5 wood while others say I need 5, 7 and 9 wood. As well, I’m mixed up whether I should get hybrids (like the #3 that I have) to take the place of the woods. Does anyone have suggestions on what I should get to complete my set? BTW, I do like wedges and would like to add either a LW or a GW to my set. Thanks!

Jamie I asked: My fiancĂ© and I are planning an outdoor wedding at a golf course, but I’m a little worried about the date. We are planning to have our wedding on the Sunday before Labor Day.
How late do golfers typically stay out playing during the summer? Our ceremony is set for 5:30pm. Will the amount have dwindled down by then?
And generally, will it be extra crowded on the Sunday before Labor Day because of the holiday weekend?

biffman asked: I’m a huge golfer and am visiting Atlanta to attend the final four in late march and early April of this year. I want to golf a couple of the best courses in the area. Price is no concern. Obviously it would be great to golf Augusta National but that is most likely impossible as it is a very private club. I would appreciate any suggestions, names, web sites, or links to the best courses in the area. Thank you for your time.
