Karen asked: Hi. I have two possible options for my summer. 1) a prestigious golf training invitational 2) community college classes. I am currently a sophomore in high school, so I need to make this summer count. I want to do whatever looks the best to colleges.
For 1), it is a prestigious golf training invitational for the “best” ranked girl golf-players in the U.S. I earned the invitational, but I don’t know whether to go or not. The highest ranked girl golf-players in the U.S. are not going for some reason, so I don’t know whether I should or not. The training program is taught by the top golfer teachers in the U.S. It’s free, but I have to pay for the airplane ticket, lodgings, and meal expenses. It would equal about $600. The training is hard-core and for 5 days, so the $600 would at least equal the lessons I get.
For 2), I’ll probably take French and some other class like philosophy.
I’m good with either choice, so I want to go to whatever looks best to colleges. Which one is it? Thanks.
