How do I plan a golf vacation to Scotland?

asked:

My family and I are planning a golf vacation to Scotland in the summer of next year. We hope to play the St Andrews Old Course, Turnberry, Carnoustie and other “hidden gems” while we are there. Does anyone have any relevant information that will help us plan our trip? What clothes to wear, courses to play etc? Thanks for any help.

Have you ever planned a non profit golf scramble?

I am looking for tips in planning a non profit golf scramble this summer to benefit special needs children w/ no diagnosis. Often these children’s insurance runs out and they have to stop therapy. I am not sure if I need to designate a charity or if I can raise the money and disperse myself. Any tips on the golf portion or the financial side would truly be appreciated. Thanks!

Okay its always been my dream to build my own golf resort. I’ve got 500,000. How do I build my resort starting with that. I know that the golf course will cost 2 mil +, but I don’t have that kind of money. And please don’t tell me I need to win the lottery. That would be nice though.

What is the longest a golf ball can stay in a dog without the dog showing symptoms?

January 13th, 2012 | Posted in golf training   Comments Off
worried dog owner asked:

Is there any possibility that a dog could swallow a golf ball a week ago and just be showing symptoms now?
Just to add details, I called the vet when it happened, who gave symptoms to look for. Symptoms did not start occurring until a week later. Dog was then taken to the vet who removed the ball. The question was to determine if it could have been the same golf ball from a week ago, or potentially a different ball from just a couple days ago.

What type of golf bag would you suggest for a petite lady?

wkl asked:

My mother would like to learn to play golf, and a family friend gave her a set of barely used clubs, so for Christmas she would like a golf bag.
I was just taking a look at them online and I wasn’t aware there are several types of bags..I know nothing about golf. I see there are carry bags and cart bags etc so what would be best for a 5′2″ 105 pound lady just learning the sport?

I’m running an experiment to see the effects that the temperature of a golf ball has on the height of the bounce. What is the safest way to heat up a golf ball? I know I could try the microwave or oven but I am not sure how safe that is.

Please Help with some ideas that you guys have done at golf tournaments, or just ones that you have heard of.

What are the best ways to sneak onto golf courses public and private?

ConnorWilhem3 asked:

Don’t reply telling me not to. I don’t have enough money to pay $40 to $50 each time on want to play golf. I played competitive high school golf and now don’t have the money because I’m in college.

My strategies include late day golf, stealing Club Car keys, and sneaking on rainy days.
What a load of crap. Sneaking onto a golf course when there’s no one playing is the same thing as stealing a car? Trespassing is not a win lose economically. No one is losing money when you play free golf and respect the course like I do at off peak hours. I’ve gotten caught and no one has ever taken me to court. My law school frat brother says no course is going to pay a lawyer to prosecute some college kid. Please answer the question at hand.
